nothing's going the way it ought to be.
what's wrong with everything. seriously.
if everyday i'm asking myself why things are happening this way, does that mean something's really wrong..?

up up and away
finishing up some work in the sch lib now..before going for training in 45mins time..
went kite flying with the girls last friday, and came back with a a very nice shirt:) the kite anaged to go up at least, very high up in fact. hah. we thought we wouldn't be able to even let it stay in the sky for 10 seconds, but amazingly it went up when we least expected it to. hah.
and hsin and annie made very nice sandwiches and cake. they always make me believe that looks doesn't account for the actual beauty. hah. i really still dun like chocolate, but the chocolate cake was yummy:) guess, it was the efforts and love i felt in the cake. hah. the sandwiches didn't look very presentable, but tasted great:> especially the cheese, even though it melted along the way.. must have taken up their entire morning trying to prepare all these for us. thanks!!
interestingly, we flew the kite in the rain. hah. even with the rain drops coming down on it, the kite still flew so high. and i think tt speaks alot. for a min. at least it reminded me of sth called perseverance. timely reminder:)
grabbed a couple of pic from hsin's blog.. love them so much:)

there u have. sy and i making our wishes before cutting the cake:) every year since then, it has been the same wish throughout.

thanks so much for the great day girls:>
off to clubhse to get changed.
i wish. for your happiness everyday.

again.
just back from xiamen. it was alright. went to zhangzhou island to see the machine and stuff. it's a really nice place. i was very impressed, really. the management - awesome. i'm seriously considering applying to do my overseas internship there. it really was an eye-opener.. an the italian guys who brought us ard, i give them my full respect. salute. thinking of putting some pics up on my friendster.
and we did a little shopping, but there wasn't much to buy though. tempting still, since the things were really cheap. but then again, no point wasting money on unnecessary stuff. so. conslusion. came back with almost two empty hands. sorry people.. didn't get anything for all of u..there really wasn't much to get.. but we did quite a bit of massaging. not bad:)
one thing i've to mention. xiamen's customer service is first class. thumbs up. i think i really understand why the govt wants us to improve our customer serivce and even have courses in these areas. cos it's really bad, generally, as compared to other countries. i mean if xiamen can have such quality service, i really can't see why our people are so stuck up and just have this nonsense attitude which really turns everyone off. right maybe i was like that. but i think we've to move on? the society has advanced, we gotta change this attitude of ours.. at least i feel i've moved on from then. i hope.
and the worst thing was that the first restaurant i went into when we touched down in spore was the swenson's outlet at the airport. the waiter's attitude was totally stinky. huge turnoff. talking bt it makes things worst. heck..but on a light note. the air stewardess of both flights i took were really nice:) another thumbs up:>
back to sch. sch's horrible. even before i reached sch, i could feel all the tension and stress. what nonsense. stress stress stress. i think we brought this upon ourselves. sorry to everyone involved. very sorry. this issue has really made me sick and tired of sch. it seems as though sch's all bt this issue. walking ard in sch all day with this floaty feeling, the after effect of 2 hrs plus on ferries and boats.. and the additional load. HEADACHE. until now. still trying to work things out..argh...and all the piled on stress from people at home.. gimme a break.
and then there's sth to worry about again tmr. havent got any idea if our proposal will work out.. crap..
good thing friday's vesak day. and i'm meeting hsin annie sy and da. flying kite and having a picnic. cool. really need to refresh my mind. it's like. a mindblock for the past 2weeks. looking forward to meeting them:)
ok tired. deadbeat. time to turn in finally.
i pray. for a goodnite's rest. for once

first week over
sch's been quite fine. not too bad afterall:) least, the modules seem rather interesting, especially BLaw. think part of me still likes studying Law. hah. had lectures only this week, not bad at all:) will be seeing my class next wk, though i actually have a rough idea of who it consists of. hope it'll be a great yr with them:)
gotta type out a letter to apply for leave from school soon, before it gets too late and they refuse to accept it. leaving next sat at 6am..so early..but then again, get to save a day:) i've this love-hate relationship for planes. somehow. am really afraid of plane rides. clearly remember how i would always have a very strong grip of my dad's hand whenever it was take off and landing. more so during turbulences. it felt so safe:) think i should be doing the same to my mom this time round. hah. useless me lah huh. planning to get some stuff over there:) and may be celebrating mother's day over there, since mom will have more time with us during those few days, compared to over in spore. haven't exactly thought of what to get for her. perhaps a pillow case with some words. hah. custom made? maybe..
i really wanna go switzerland. my parents went there when i was in pri two, and left my sis and i with my grandma. i remember very very clearly till now, of how i cried like nuts when they were leaving the house. and every night in my gram's place for two weeks. hah.. what nonsense right. hah..
gotta go get a luggage later from jurong pt or maybe town. the luggages at home are too big. hah. really looking forward to this short trip:)
oh i was at TS just now, and bought a korean drama. will be watching it over dinner tonight. yep:>
will be taking my driving basic theory test on tuesday. under great pressure to pass on first attempt since my dad's side all passed each and every driving test, including practical, on their first attempt. hah.. it's gonna be a tiring day on tuesday.. gotta go to BBDC str8 after lessons end, then test, then rush back to school for a makeup tutorial.. nonsense..and have to miss trng on tuesday. argh. next tuesday too. double argh.
oh and i went for the education exhibition at suntec yesterday. have to say it was quite rewarding cos i've got many contacts now from the various education centres and that'll definitely help alot in organising events and talks for my cca and events mgmt module. great:)also checked out a couple of booths about education in UK. sounds good.
am thinking too far ahead. gonna get back to my BLaw tutorial now. hah.
cheers. to a great week ahead:)

hols are finally coming to an end. the word's finally. though i feel i havent exactly done alot this hols. but yeah.
sch's starting the following monday.. and before that, there's the orientation. somehow am looking forward to it, seeing all the freshies. :)
and mom arranged a trip to china on may 6.. will have to do some catching up i think..
well, i think i'm an expert at cooking porridge d. have been doing it almost the whole hols for my grandma. hah. and she promised to teach me something more exciting when she recovers. so i'm praying harder each day.
wanted to go for the crescent funfair supposedly, but sth cropped up and cudn't make it. but anyway, there wasn't any news about who i was looking for. hah. still, heard that i didn't miss out much cos there were too many people. the class pic was very nice:) everyone looks just the same, yet so different somehow. hah.
still miss crescent alot.
school's starting, meaning another few months of rush and projects. but it's a new class, with a handful of old classmates of course. so i'm still looking forward to it:) but i heard some stuff bt the class..so.. really hope it won't turn out that way. hah.
i was just wondering a few days back, about what i'll do and where to move towards after graduation. it's abit far i know, but i've always felt it's good to have a goal in mind. to keep the drive there.
of course, if local's possible, it would be good. but i was seriously considering UK. heard quite abit bt UK from my cousin who studied there for three yrs and came back with a very pretty girlfriend. hah. it's the experience that counts, everyone says that. and of course i know that too. what else makes you grow, right? then again it'll mean having to put alot of things aside for almost three yrs, and i haven't got any idea if i'm capable of doing that. i'm hopeful though. it'll be real fun i know. and i'm definitely gonna visit old trafford. hah. and get some beckham goods back. hah. i'm thinking too much.
mom sold our house at bukit batok. definitely wasn't an easy decision by her either i know. my sis and i actually made plans d, on when we'll move in and what we'll do with that size a house. but plans always change. still, i was telling my mom i really wanna have a dinner at the rooftop at least. in the very least. no water and electrical supply there, but candles and pre-prepared water will definitely do the job. my suggestion. hah. in any case, i'm positive i'll get my dinner at our house:)
and i really dunno how many months my sis has been saying this sentence ' eh shall we go play golf?'. until today it's still 'eh shall we go play golf?'. all talk and no actions.. think i had better go get something done bt this and get the clubs first. hah. or i really wouldn't be surprised if i hear this phrase again one yr later.
i wanna pick up a new sport. think the ones im doing now are really boring me out.. any suggestions? :)
have got loads to do when school starts. shall enjoy my last wk of hols:)
