gearing up

so, the presentation went quite smoothly yesterday. but there's still lots to be done for the actual one two weeks later. everyone looked great in their formal wear:) 'cept for me. hah. smhow the nerves din get to me during the presentation.. hopefully it means sth impt:)

a much better game last night:> got a couple of far shots in, lucky i should say, cos the court lights were so blinding.. i think i gotta get my eyes checked again, can hanrdly see the faces at the other end of the court.. ain't gd at all. felt tight tugs in the chest, another trip to the doc nseems unavoidable.. my sis's right. im slowly breaking up. n my mom. spot on too. 'you're like an old woman'

yeah back to the game. sante fe's players were very aggressive. took chances with every ball. but i guess, we played a better game n outdid them. we got off to a really shaky start, prob. cos it was still our 2nd game together so far. the second quart was alil worrying. didn't take my shots well, and committed a couple of mistakes. really gotta work on the 'hopping'. there was a slight commotion halfway thru the game during time-out, but yeah..we were calm n composed:) the defenders were great again. they really did a superb job. absolutely well done:> gotta communicate more with my shooter still.. she's been of great help really:)
took a bad fall in the 2nd quart. no physical injuries, but my right arm took the bulk of the impact and is aching badly now.. a couple of falls and stuff during the game, but the girls are tough:) especially that girl. hah. she brought in with her so much vigour in the last quart:>
honestly i've high confidence we'll be able to top our league. doesn't seem like anything great though, but it means alot to me since it's my first with np. we'll get things right:)

another game tmr night. alil worried cos i havent seen their play.. but we will get the job done. well done im sure.
